Topics/Call fo Papers
Puerto Rico Welcomes IUPAC World Chemistry Congress of 2011 and the celebration of 2011 as the International Year of Chemistry.
The Colegio de Químicos de Puerto Rico (CQPR) will host the 2011 IUPAC World Chemistry Congress in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the Puerto Rico Convention Center complex, from July 30 to August 7, 2011.
IUPAC 2011 - ACS Challenge Grant Program
2011 IUPAC World Congress, San Juan, Puerto Rico To help support the Colegio de Quimicos de Puerto Rico in its bid to host the IUPAC 2011 World Congress, in 2007 the American Chemical Society (ACS) Board of Directors approved funding in the form of challenge grants to help contribute scientific content to the event which takes place July 30 ? August 7, 2011 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This is the first time an IUPAC World Congress will have been held in Latin America.
The IUPAC 2011 scientific organizing committee and its challenge grant review panel selected three challenge grant applications to receive support to organize symposia for the 2011 IUPAC World Congress.
