Indonesian Institute of Sciences - The Centre of Appropriate Technology Development , invite you to submit and present original research papers to the 2nd International Conference on Appropriate Technology Development (ICATDev) to be held on 3-5 October 2016 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibitions Bumi Serpong Damai City Tangerang. The theme of the Conference is "Appropriate technology for small and medium enterprise (SME) empowerment".
Objectives of the conference are to: (a) create a research avenue for academics and other professionals in the relevant fields and (b) promote a dynamic atmosphere of innovations, exhibitions, round table discussions as well as wider linkage for global networking where everyone can cultivate greater support appropriate technology development for SME empowerment.
We would like to invite research and review paper submission covering the following topics but not limited to:
Appropriate technology development for SME
Development of equipment/tools, processing , and product of SME which satisfy the following criteria: appropriate to the context including the environmental, ethical, cultural, social, politics, and economical context, sustainable (requiring fewer natural resources and producing )
Sustainable supply chain at SME
Supply chain management at SME aiming to obtain cost reduction, process efficiency, asset utilization, service realibility, inventory optimization in support to the business sustainability by considering the environmental impact, social responsibility, economic stability, health and safety, stakeholder interest.
Diffusion and Adoption of Appropriate technology at SMEs
Method of diffusion, level of adoption Appropriate Technology. How Appropriate technology spread and process of adoption by SME
Intellectual Protection Right of Appropriate technology for SME
To explore challenges in making effective use of IP so that SME’s will have increase ability to exploit their creative and innovative capabilities.
