On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to invite all of you to the International Workshop on Advanced Image Technology (IWAIT) 2011.
We are eager to have you here in Indonesia. We encourage you to participate in this special event. Previous workshops have been held annually in Eastern and South Eastern Asian countries such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hongkong, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. This year, Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) has the privilege of organizing this prestigious conference in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Indonesia holds a very special role in the South Eastern Asia region; for centuries, it has been considered as a hub that connects Asia and Australia continents. Indonesian people are also well known for their hospitalities. The country is also very rich with traditional culture that may not be found anywhere else on the globe. In Indonesia, beautiful sceneries can be found at almost any directions throughout the country.
The organizing committee has arranged an interesting main event which consists of a conference in the advanced image and multimedia technology where researchers, engineers and industries can exchange their state-of-the-art finding or research in this very specialized field. In addition to this main event, we also provide a banquet dinner which is an exciting social event for the conference participants. Furthermore, since Jakarta and its surroundings cities have many notable features, landmarks and recreational areas, those interested in appreciating them may spend extra times to visit these remarkable places and have fun while they can during their stay in Jakarta. We hope these would be enjoyable and memorable experiences.
