ICER 2017 - 2017 International Computing Education Research Conference

ICER is an annual international conference sponsored by ACM and its Special Interest Group in Computer Science Education (SIGCSE). The conference is focused specifically on the computing education research discipline ? that is, the study of how people come to understand computational processes and devices, and how to improve that understanding. ICER provides a forum for presenting and publishing high-quality research in computing education. At ICER 2016 we will continue the traditional ICER single-track format which is designed to encourage authors and audience to engage in lively discussion about each work presented.
Prior to the conference (8 September) there will be a workshop “Understanding and Propagating the Essence of Successful CS Education Research Projects) and a Doctoral Consortium. Immediately following the conference there will be a Work-in-Progress workshop.
