BigDataSPT 2016 - Annual Big Data Security, Privacy and Trust Workshop (BigDataSPT 2016)
Topics/Call fo Papers
The volume, velocity and variety of data holdings are increasing, which demand cost-effective, efficient and innovative approaches or even a rethink in traditional approaches to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information assets.
This workshop aims to bring researchers, practitioners and other stakeholders together as a multi-disciplinary forum for discussion and dissemination of ideas to advance Big Data research.
Scope and Interests
Topics of interest comprise, but are limited to:
Research agendas that investigate big data security related issues (e.g. vulnerabilities on devices or technologies that can be exploited to compromise the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets).
Research agendas that identify big data privacy challenges, solutions and best practices (e.g. privacy-preserving in a complex big data environment, such as cloud and cyber-physical systems).
Research agendas that investigate big data trust related issues investigate
Papers that combine blue sky research and applied practice (e.g. cost effective retrieval, and analysis and evaluation of large data repositories).
