HCI 2016 - International Workshop on Human Computer Interaction for Patient Empowerment
Topics/Call fo Papers
Interactive technologies can empower patients with information and tools to engage and manage their healthcare process. However, there is growing concern about the quality, reliability, and usability of the information and tools. All stakeholders must be involved in the design and testing of technology-based patient empowerment. This is a proposal for a one-day workshop aimed at building a community of practice including HCI and healthcare professionals, and any other patient advocates, scope and address the issues and challenges in empowering patients through interactive technology, and delineate a roadmap for future research and practice.
