Intr oduction
The cloud storage is a natural evolution of distributed storage and computing
and of the widespread adaption of virtualization and Service-Oriented
Architectures (SOA). In cloud storage systems, IT-related capabilities and
resources are provided as services, via the Internet and on-demand, accessible
without requiring detailed knowledge of the underlying technology. The 1st
International Workshop on Cloud Storage Service and Computing (WCSSC 2016),
steered by the SpaCCS committee, aims to bring toget her researchers who
work on cloud storage service and computing related technologies.

Proceedings
The conference proceedings (including main conference papers and workshop
papers) will be published by Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science
(LNCS) series (EI indexed) and 11 SCI special issues.
