VENOA 2016 - 8-th International Workshop on Virtual Environment and Network-Oriented Applications (VENOA-2016)

Rapid advancement of high-speed network and multimedia technologies makes the virtual environment a realistic and ubiquitous framework. Many new and innovative application fields including tele-medicine, virtual museum, electronic library, e-learning, industrial design, and entertainment are realized by using computer graphics, image processing, high-performance computing, and ubiquitous sensing technologies. The VENOA-2016 is the 8th international workshop to serve as a forum for exchanging information and ideas on the fields of virtual environment and network-oriented multimedia applications. This workshop will be held in conjunction with Complex, Intelligent and Software Intensive Systems (CISIS-2016) International Conference to be held at Fukuoka, Japan. The workshop seeks original contributions in all relevant areas, including but not limited to the following topics.
