system benefits from a DCP 2016 - Dynamic Control Plan (DCP). The blend of the Process Failure Modes Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Control Plan (CP). How to develop, interpret and gain system benefits from a DCP - By Compliance Global Inc

Topics/Call fo Papers
Overview:
Come celebrate the union of the PFMEA training and the CP! See how the Dynamic Control Plan (DCP) combines both tools into ONE enabling the savings of hundreds of hours of Engineering time, reducing the risk of documentation errors, and, actually improving QMS effectiveness while reducing repetitious work.
Why Should You Attend:
This webinar will show you how you can benefit from the DCP!
Process Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA): High level overview of PFMEA column content. Not designed to be an in-depth session of each PFMEA column
Control Plan (CP): High level overview of CP column content. Not designed to be an in-depth session of each PFMEA column
Dynamic Control Plan (DCP): Step by step blend of the two documents per general AIAG standards; no column will contextually be left behind. Participants will actually observe the completion of 2-3 lines of a DCP for a modeled item including both a variable and an attribute feature
Benefits Review: Pros/cons of the DCP format will be reviewed including:
Pros: Some positives include improved risk analysis, reduced overall time in document management, reduced duplication of data collection, reduced risk of document alignment, Improved utilization in CA/PA analysis, etc.
Cons: Some cons that need to be managed include transitioning the "silos" of engineering and quality teams into one effective group and managing customer expectations of independent formats, etc.
Areas Covered in this Webinar:
The Dynamic Control Plan (DCP) purely eliminates the stand-alone Control Plan as part of the Advanced Planning and Quality (APQP) Documentation process by combining the Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Process Control Plan (CP) into one handy format.
By essentially "bolting on" a few columns to the PFMEA, the CP is now powerfully enabled to effectively prevent and/or detect the failure modes that it is originally designed to manage. It forces the "completion of a linear thought" as practitioners manage every line item of the PFMEA and strongly improves the efficacy of this risk-analysis process.
This little-used but Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) approved format reduces hundreds of hours of engineering/quality time in document preparation and largely mitigates disconnects in the 8D Corrective Action/Preventive Action (CA/PA) analysis process. A live sample will be demonstrated step by step across the process.
Learning Objectives:
Reduce business complexity
Increase effectively of both tools and better predict risk
Mitigate system cross-referencing errors
Who Will Benefit:
Quality, Lean and Engineering System Practitioners
Directors
Vice-Presidents
Engineers
Analysts
Managers
Level:
Beginner
