CVMP 2016 offers the opportunity to showcase your work through submission of Full (up to 10 page) and Short (1 page) papers:
2016 Important Dates
Full papers submission deadline: 8th July 2016
Short papers and demos deadline: 26th August 2016
Notifications (full/short/demos): 9th September 2016
Camera ready deadline (full/short papers): 16th September 2016
Conference dates: 12th-13th December 2016
Full Papers
We invite submissions of regular, technical papers presenting novel research or applications related to any aspect of media production. We particularly encourage submission of early stage doctoral work. Full length submitted papers should be no more than 10 pages and will be subject to peer review. Accepted papers will be presented in either oral or poster form, and will appear in the ACM Digital Library.
Demos
The demos programme promotes applied research and applications to facilitate collaborations between industrial and academic members of the media production community. Demos do not have to be related to full or short papers accepted at CVMP but should have the form of live demonstrations of media production methods and/or its applications. A 1 page paper should be submitted describing the content of the demonstration and an overview of the approach.
Short Papers
Short paper submissions are invited in the form of a 1 page extended abstract, describing innovative industry practice or academic research. In 2016, short papers will be *not* published via ACM within the proceedings of CVMP 2016, but will be presented in poster form at the conference and appear as printed materials on the day.
For both demos and short papers, submissions of a 1 page extended abstract should be made via the CVMP 2016 submission website using the SHORT papers format available below
Links to online videos of work are also encouraged. Submitted demo papers are *not* published, although authors may flag their demo submission for consideration for a short paper if they wish. Accepted demonstrations will be held concurrently with the poster sessions.

Authors will be notified of paper acceptance on 25th August. Camera-ready versions of the papers incorporating any modifications will be required by 1st September.
