2016 - The Mediterranean Basin: Issues and Perspectives for the 21C

The departments of History and Accounting/Finance at St. John Fisher College invite proposals for conference papers and roundtables concerning the politics, culture, economics, and strategic importance of the Mediterranean Basin from 1500 to the present. Organized panels of 3?4 individual papers with a Chair and/or Commentator are especially welcomed. The conference organizers encourage graduate student participation. For individual paper proposals submit a 150-word abstract and abbreviated CV. For panels and roundtables submit the title, topic of the panel/roundtable, abbreviated CVs for each member, and abstracts. The organizers ask that individual presentations be to limited 12?15 minutes in length as to best encourage discussion.
