Sixth International Conference on Emerging Databases - Technologies,
Applications, and Theory (EDB2016)

Goals:
The International Conference on Emerging Databases is an annual forum for exploring
technologies, novel applications, and research of emerging database fields. Using this forum,
researchers and practitioners can exchange current issues, challenges, new technologies,
and practical experiences. The sixth International Conference on Emerging Databases -
Technologies, Applications, and Theory (EDB2016) will focus on data science, data mining,
big data management and analytics, etc. which are taking much attraction from computer science
in addition to many other fields. The EDB2016 will be held at Jeju Island, Jeju, Korea.
Authors are invited to submit original and research papers addressing technical issues,
solutions, and technologies in emerging database and data science areas. All submissions
will be peer-reviewed by the members of the international program committee. All accepted
papers will be published in the proceedings with an assigned ISBN number and also published
in the ACM Digital Library.

Submission:
Original papers that have not been published previously or are not under review in other journals
or conferences will be considered. All submitted papers will be evaluated according to their
originality, significance, correctness, presentation, and relevance. Papers should be submitted
as PDF file through EasyChair, http://www.easychair.org, which must be formatted according to
the conference camera-ready format. The direct link for paper submission is
https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=emerging_d.... Papers can be submitted as either
regular or short papers. Regular papers are limited to 10 pages in ACM format and short papers
limited to 4 pages (short papers can be presented at poster sessions). Accepted regular and
short papers will be published in the conference proceedings and in ACM Digital Library.
Awards and Journal Special Issues:
EDB2016 Best Paper/Poster Awards will be conferred at the conference to the authors of the
best research/application papers. A set of selected papers will be invited for possible
publication to related international journals (SCI- or SCOPUS-indexed) after revision and
extension.

- Paper submission deadline : July 15, 2016
- Acceptance notification : September 1, 2016
- Camera-ready upload due : September 17, 2016
- Author registration due : September 20, 2016
- Early-registration due : October 1, 2016
