The International Conference on Computer and Applications ICCA'16 is an annual event focusing on state of the art technologies pertaining to digital information, communications and multimedia. It addresses all applications of computing including (but not limited to) connected health, information security, assistive technology, edutainment and serious games, education, grid computing, transportation, social computing, natural language processing, knowledge extraction and reasoning, Arabic apps, image and pattern processing, virtual reality, cloud computing, haptics, information security, robotics, networks algorithms, web engineering, big data analytics, ontology, constraints satisfaction, cryptography and steganography, Fuzzy logic, soft computing, neural networks, artificial intelligence, biometry and bio-informatics, embedded systems, computer graphics, algorithms and optimization, Internet of things and smart cities. It is an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to meet together and discuss the recent trends in computer applications. It opens a new horizon for research collaboration locally and internationally. Young researchers are highly encouraged to submit their work to the conference.
Submission Instructions
Authors are encouraged to submit high quality, original work written in good English that has neither appeared in, nor is under consideration by other conferences or journals according to the following format. Paper submission is done through EDAS (http://edas.info/22590) management system. Authors who cannot access the EDAS system, can send their submission to jaam-AT-qu.edu.qa or akassem-AT-ndu.edu.lb.
Special privileges will be given to young researchers (i.e., PhDs, Postdoctoral fellow)
Proceedings Publication
The accepted papers will be published in a special issue of the International Journals of Computing and Information Sciences. The program committee will recommend the best selected papers for the journal Published by Elsevier. Other possible journals to publish the best selected papers are ACM TOMM Journal (approval pending) and others.
Two categories of papers are to be published in the special issue: (1) short papers of 2-4 pages; and (2) full papers of 4-10 pages.
Important Deadlines:
Submission deadline: May 25, 2016
Author Notification: June 10, 2016
Early Registration: June 15, 2016
Camera Ready: August 15, 2016
