Call for Tutorials

The International Conference on Computational Learning for Aerospace (ICCLA 2011) addresses development of novel computational learning techniques for the analysis/application in aerospace and related industries. Attendees from all over the world will have strong interest in learning about state-of-the-art computational methods and their applications in Aerospace industry. As such, we will have a tutorial program as an integral part of ICCLA 2010. We invite proposals for tutorials in all areas of computational learning for aerospace, including introductory/overview tutorials, state-of-the-art tutorials as well as in-practice tutorials.

A tutorial proposal should include the following information:
1. Title of the tutorial
2. A biographical sketch of the presenter(s)
3. A brief summary of the topic, including

a) Specific goals /objectives

b) Scope

c) Full description (sections and short summary of each section)
4. Relevant references/justification that would support proposal evaluation
5. Prerequisite knowledge of audience
6. If the proposed tutorial has been given previously, the proposal should include where the tutorial has been given and how it will be modified for ICCLA 2010.

Proposals must be no more than 5 pages, including the presenter's name, affiliation, address, email, phone number, and FAX number. Electronic submissions must be received by Sep 1, 2010. Please submit your proposals via email to Tutorial Chair: Dr. Li Xiaoli xlli-AT-i2r.a-star.edu.sg.

Proposals will be evaluated based on relevance and content. Presenters of selected tutorials will receive an honorarium and a single free registration would be provided per tutorial. Comprehensive tutorial notes should be provided by Nov 15 2010, for production of copies for distribution at the conference.

Important Dates:
Tutorial Proposal Due: Sep 1, 2010
Acceptance Notification: Oct 1, 2010
Tutorial notes (printable slides) Due: Nov 15, 2010
Tutorial Presentation: Jan 10, 2011 (tentative date)

This is an excellent opportunity for researchers and industry practitioners to learn the novel technologies, build connections and discuss recent progresses and challenges etc.
