The Sixth Mexican Conference on Human-Computer Interaction is the premier Human-Computer Interaction conference in Mexico organized by the Mexican ACM SIGCHI chapter (CHI-México) and the Mexican Association on Human Computer Interaction (AMexIHC), held on 21th, 22th and 23th of September 2016, in the city of Colima, a city surrounded to the north by two volcanoes: the Volcano of Fire and the Nevado de Colima.
The main objective of MexIHC is to enable the exchange of scientific results, their application in industry and its application in: evaluation, interface design, industry, education, videogames, mobile, interactive applications and related areas. This time, MexIHC 2016 is organized by lecturers and researchers in the community of HCI in Mexico, appointed into Mexican and Canadian higher education institutions and an Italian research centre.
This year MexIHC will be celebrated jointly with the 5th International Conference on Information Technology (CITI 2016), keeping their own identities, to join forces and establish partnerships between the two communities.
