WDD 2011 - The 2nd World DNA and Genome Day 2011 (WDD-2011)

For the celebration of the 50th anniversary of James Watson and Francis Crick’s publication of DNA Double Helix Structure on Nature, US Congress designated April 25 as National DNA Day, and the month April as Genome Month in 2003. It was a historic event. At same time, multilateral celebrations were held in April, 2003. To support the symbolic celebration, provide services and update the progresses in life sciences and biotech, we held the 1st World DNA and Genome Day (WDD) in 2005 under the support of the Dalian Municipal Government.
