SDMMW 2016 - First International Workshop on Spatiotemporal Data Management and Mining for the Web (SDMMW'16)

The First International Workshop on Spatiotemporal Data Management and Mining for the Web (SDMMW'16) will be held on June 3, 2016, in Nanchang, Jiangxi (China) in conjunction with the 17th International Conference on Web-Age Information Management (WAIM 2016).
Spatiotemporal data are ubiquitous on the Web and spawn a wide spectrum of important applications. The SDMMW'16 addresses issues of spatiotemporal data management and mining in any Web related scenarios. We are soliciting high quality experience and theoretical papers involving spatiotemporal data in conventional and emerging Web applications. Although the emphasis of this workshop is works based on spatiotempral data, the scope does not limit to any particular approach or application. This workshop aims to bring together people from these different areas and present an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to share new techniques and discovery of spatiotemporal data.
