CHoPS 2012 - 7th International Conference for Conveying and Handling of Particulate Solids - CHoPS 2012
Topics/Call fo Papers
The CHoPS conference originated from Israel where A. Levy organised it for the first time in 1995. The following year the conference was organised in several European cities, in 2009 it reaches Brisbane, Australia.
In the tradition of the previous six CHoPS conferences, CHoPS 2012 will focus on the handling and processing of particulate solids.
Its main subject areas will be
Storage and Handling of Bulk Solids
Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Conveying
Modelling of Handling and Processing of Particles (DEM, FEM, CFD...)
Fundamentals of Particle Flow
Segregation & Mixing
Handling and Processing of Food Products
Production of Particulate Solids (crystallisation, precipitation, etc.)
Production & Handling of Nanoparticles
Formulation, Coating and Size Enlargement
Environmental Aspects
Size reduction (crushing, grinding, milling)
Measurements, Controls & On-line monitoring
Particle Characterisation
Drying of Particulate Materials
Separation & Classification
Paper Submission
A call for papers will be published in autum 2011. Please write us an e-mail if you want to receive the call for papers:
