MyCRYPT 2016 - 2016 International Conference on Cryptology & Malicious Security

The International Conference on Cryptology & Malicious Security hosted in Malaysia (Mycrypt 2016) is the second in the series of internationally peer-reviewed conferences on security & cryptology originated in Malaysia.
The first & only Mycrypt thus far was in 2005; even back then it had a dedicated session on unconventional cryptography. Since then, substantial breakthroughs have been made in crypto & security in the past decade, including notions pertaining to malicious security, i.e. where security is no longer just against bad guys but where good guys who are conventionally viewed as mostly defensive can equally be adversarial. These align well with recent trends wherein trusted parties need not necessarily be trustworthy, and where insiders can potentially be malicious.
It is now time to rejuvenate the Mycrypt series with particular focus on paradigm-shifting crypto research & thinking outside the current box.
Mycrypt 2016 will be held in Malaysia from 1 to 2 December 2016, just before Asiacrypt 2016 happens in Hanoi.
