The goal of the workshop is to discuss the unique challenges and the state-of-the-art in the area of inference and analysis on user-generated content (UGC). We invite submissions on all topics related to application of machine learning methods to UGC data. Some examples of such applications include:
- identifying product aspects and polarity in reviews
- identifying spamming and trolling in comments and discussion forums
- modeling comment-article relationships
- identifying best answers and experts in discussion forums
- using question-answer forum data for automatic Question Answering
- identifying entities and polarity in social media posts
Accepted submissions can be presented as either a Poster or a Demo. The workshop also features invited talks and a panel discussion with experts in academia and industry working on the problems involving UGC.
