Special Issue on Innovations and Intellectual Property Rights in Asia

Call for Papers
The Special Issue editors invite papers that examine novel phenomena, employ original methodologies, and offer interesting empirical insight and theoretical contribution related to innovations and intellectual property rights in Asia.
Possible topics- need to be more and focused/specific
Possible topics include, but not limited to, the economic analysis of the issues related to research and development, innovation, protection of intellectual property rights, and its implications for economic growth and trade in Asia. Empirical research integrated in theory development is encouraged. In empirical studies, research methodologies must be consistent with high standards and may include qualitative, quantitative, and mixed method approaches. Note that while Millennial Asia publishes high-quality empirical papers and therefore they should not primarily be descriptive in nature. Papers are expected to explicitly contribute to a theoretical and empirical agenda based on novel data. Please see the editorial aims of Millennial Asia on the journal’s website.
Submission Process
To be considered for publication, manuscripts of a maximum of 8000 to 9,000 words must be consistent with “Types of Submission” in the website of Millennial Asia. Submission should be sent electronically as a MS Word file (please do not use PDF format) to the Guest Editors at journalma-AT-rediffmail.com, sukhpal-AT-iimahd.ernet.in and wakasugi-AT-kier.kyoto-u.ac.jp by 30 June 2016. The author(s) should send the contribution containing details of author’s institutional affiliation, full address and contact email. All editorial correspondence should also be addressed to the Editors at the emails given above. All papers will receive a peer review following Millennial Asia’s normal review process.
