The EAMT Executive Committee is pleased to announced that the 2016 EAMT conference will be held in Riga, Latvia, on May 30?June 1. The conference will be hosted by our friends at Tilde, a language technology company that specializes in custom machine translation and cloud terminology services.
Located just minutes from the sandy shores of the Baltic Sea, Riga blends a rich medieval heritage with stunning Art Nouveau architecture. For centuries, the Latvian capital has been an important crossroads for trade between east and west, north and south. This has made the cosmopolitan city a vibrant multilingual hotspot, where the streets are abuzz with languages and music ? the perfect location for the EAMT conference!
