The ninth Asian Conference on Computer Vision will be held in Sep. 23-27, 2009, in Xi¡¯an. The topics of interest include, but are not restricted to, the following:
Image and video search
Learning and statistical methods
Low-level vision
Color, illumination and texture
Object recognition
Perceptual interfaces
Physics-based vision
Segmentation and grouping
Motion and tracking
Sensors and real-time/active vision
Shape representation
Stereo and motion
Range data analysis
Vision for graphics
Vision systems
Vision for robotics
Papers in the main technical program must describe original research. And the number of pages of every paper shoud be between 8 and 12. To encourage high quality submissions, various paper prizes will be awarded at the conference. The award-winning papers will be selected to appear in a future special issue of the International Journal of Computer Vision and IPSJ Transactions on Computer Vision and Applications (CVA).The conference proceedings will be published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.
