PRIME conference is dedicated to PhD students who are invited to submit regular papers. PRIME is Tenchnical Sponsored by IEEE and IEEE CAS. All papers presented at PRIME 2016 will be published in the IEEE Xplore giving a large audience to the event.
The event will be held at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon in Portugal from June 27th to June 30th 2016.
For those willing to submit a paper on any of the topics of the PRIME 2016, please note that the deadline for paper submission is March 4th 2016. Information on the conference and submission details can be found at: http://prime2016.lx.it.pt/

The purpose of the PRIME Conference is to grow PhD students' experience in the early stage of their career by creating a connection between academic world and companies.
A Workshop is organized for all conference participants on June 27th. Moreover, a Company Fair is organized for all conference participants, to create a connection between major companies in Electronics/Microelectronics and PhD students.
PRIME 2016 topics of interest include, but are not limited, to:
- Micro/nanoelectronics
- Semiconductors
- Analog and Digital Signal Processing
- Computer Aided Design
- Analog, Digital, Mixed-Signal and RF IC Design
- Integrated Power ICs
- RF, Microwave and Millimeterwave Circuits
- VLSI and SoC Applications
- Visual Signal Processing
- Sensor Systems and MEMS
- Energy Scavenging
- Technical trends and challenges
- Electronic Skin
The first author/presenter of each paper must be a student. Based on the reviewer’s and the awards-committee's evaluation top 30% papers will be awarded as follows:
The GOLD LEAF Certificate for the top 10% papers.
The SILVER LEAF Certificate for papers between top 10% and top 20%.
The BRONZE LEAF Certificate for papers between top 20% and top 30%.
Finally, PRIME 2016 will be co-located with SMACD 2016 (http://smacd2016.lx.it.pt/) bringing together well known researchers, institutions and companies from the IC Design and EDA communities.
