OSHA's Update of Hazard Communication: What it Means for You
This 90-minute webinar will cover the OSHA’s new Hazard Communication Standard and will discuss the differences between the old standard and the new standard so that attendees will be able to adapt and apply the requirements in the workplace.

In March, 2012 OSHA published an update of its Hazard Communication Standard to correspond with the UN’s Globally Harmonized Communication System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). The new standard is designed to help employees better understand the hazards of the chemicals with which they are working. In addition, changes to the Hazard Communication Standard will affect hazard classification, labeling, material safety data sheets and training. Also, new criteria have been established for Hazard Classification in order to address physical hazards of chemicals, and chemical mixtures.
This 90-minute session will cover the OSHA’s new Hazard Communication Standard and will discuss the differences between the old standard and the new standard so that attendees will be able to adapt and apply the requirements in the workplace.
