At the 14th World conference on Lung Cancer, our objectives are to:
Share and discuss recent advances in prevention, imaging, early detection and treatment of lung cancer
Review advances in the molecular biology and pharmacogenomics and monitoring effects of treatment of lung cancer and how these apply to personalized medicine
Discuss tobacco control methods being utilized throughout the world
Evaluate results from recent clinical trials related to lung cancer, mesothelioma and thymic tumors
Review palliative care options for patients with lung cancer
Support the career development of fellows and junior faculty with an interest in lung cancer
Review the role of nurses in (multidisciplinary) patient care and clinical research as well as educate nurses on new aspects for patients with lung cancer
