VLDB is a premier annual international forum for data management and database researchers, vendors, practitioners, application developers, and users. The VLDB 2016 conference will feature research talks, tutorials, demonstrations, and workshops. It will cover issues in data management, database and information systems research, since they are the technological cornerstones of the emerging applications of the 21st century.
VLDB2016 will take place at New Delhi, the capital city of India,from 5th to 9th September, 2016. New Delhi, which is also considered to be the cultural capital of India, traces its history to Mahabharata, the great Indian epic. Historically, the city has long since been the foremost in political importance with successive dynasties choosing it as their seat of power, between 13th and 17th centuries. Old Delhi was founded by Mughal rulers, while New Delhi was built by a British architect Edward Edwin Lutyens in 1912 as the new capital of the British Raj. Contemporary Delhi is a city with modern and Victorian architectures interspersed with well-laid out gardens, Mughal tombs, forts and monuments. There are many spectacular historic sites in and around the city that are major tourist attractions.
