SampTA 2011 - The 9th International Conference on Sampling Theory and Applications (SampTA 2011
Topics/Call fo Papers
The 9th International Conference on Sampling Theory and Applications (SampTA 2011) will be held for the first time in Asia at the Yunnan Garden Campus of the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore from May 2 - 6, 2011.
SampTA is an interdisciplinary conference gathering mathematicians, engineers and applied scientists in the field of sampling theory which is of utmost importance in all digital systems. The main purpose of SampTA is to exchange recent advances and to explore new directions in related areas (see Call For Papers).
The first SampTA meetings started off as intimate workshops which were held in Riga (Latvia, SampTA'95), Aveiro (Portugal, SampTA'97), Loen (Norway, SampTA'99). As the interest in sampling theory and its applications grew, the biennial meetings blossomed into full-fledge conferences in Orlando (USA, SampTA'01), Salzburg (Austria, SampTA'03), Samsun (Turkey, SampTA'05), Thessaloniki (Greece, SampTA'07) and in Marseille (France, SampTA'09) which attracted 160 participants with an even mix of mathematicians and engineers.
Singapore being a multicultural and vibrant research hub in Asia, we look forward to welcoming all participants to the SampTA community.
