OMICS Group International welcomes and invites you to the prestigious “International Conference on Pediatric Dermatology” which is going to be held during July 21-23, 2016 at Brisbane, Australia with the theme “Expanding the novel technologies and current research for prevention and treatment of pediatric dermatitis”. Pediatric Dermatology-2016 mainly focuses on disseminating the knowledge in the field of pediatric dermatology.
OMICS International Organises 300+ Conferences every year across USA, Europe & Asia with support from 1000 more scientific societies and Publishes 500+ Open access journals which contains over 30000 eminent personalities and reputed scientists as editorial board members. OMICS International Conference is a great platform for researchers to explore knowledge and get new ideas. Target Audience for Pediatric Dermatology ? 2016 includes Researchers, Industrialists, Students and Public Sector Experts.
Infections of the skin and soft tissue are a high priority global issue with developed countries seeing rapidly rising rates of incidence. Skin infections are rapidly rising in Australia with as many as one in four children developing the disease before the age of two. Up to 70% of children have skin sores, with group A streptococcus (GAS) the major pathogen of scabies. Between 15 and 35 per cent of people who have a Staphylococcus aureus bloodstream (SAB) infection dies from the consequences of the infection. In 2011/12, there were 1,724 Staphylococcus aureus Bloodstream infections in Australian hospitals whereas the number has increased to 1,740 in 2012/13. Funding up to $22,500 is being provided yearly for the research work going on in the field of pediatric dermatology. The Dermatology Foundation provides awards and fellowships (up to $100,000) for pediatric dermatology researchers. Overall, the global pediatric healthcare market reaches around $81.0 billion and annual funding for Pediatric Associations is from $629,559 million to $669,841 million for pediatric research.
Scientific Sessions:
Pediatric Dermatology is the branch of science which deals with the skin related problems in children, including newborns and infants. Pediatric dermatology-2016 is comprised of the following scientific sessions with 12 main tracks and 74 subtracks designed to address the current issues of Pediatric dermatology.
Track 1 Pediatric Atopic Dermatitis:
Atopic Dermatitis is a chronic skin disorder which varies from mild to severe. It generally begins from two to six months of age with dry, sensitive skin that becomes red and itchy.
The track includes Eczema associated with osteoporosis and fractures, Drug delivery approaches, Role of Vitamin D in skin infection, Atopic dermatitis and food allergy, Pathogenesis of atopic dermatitis, Atopic dermatitis: Diagnosis and Treatment and Management of pediatric atopic dermatitis.
Track 2 Current Issues in Pediatric Dermatology:
This deals with the information related to current issues in the field of Pediatric Dermatology which includes New forms of contact dermatitis in childhood, Cystic fibrosis and aquagenic wrinkling of the palms, Systemic Beta-Blockade for infantile hemangiomas, Universal Acquired Melanosis in children (Black carbon baby), Griscelli syndrome (silvery hair syndrome), Systemic therapies for Psoriasis, PCOS- Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome in children, Pediatric Psoriasis: Pathogenesis and Relation to autoimmunity, Pediatric Psoriasis: Clinical characteristics and Diagnosis and Treatments.
Track 3 Genodermatosis:
Genodermatosis is a large pool of inherited single gene disorder with skin manifestations. It includes Diagnosis and treatment of Netherton’s syndrome, New forms of Epidermolysis bullosa, Diagnosis and treatment of Acrodermatitis enteropathica, Diagnosis and treatment of Ichthyosis, Genetic Disorders leading to genodermatosis and Epidemiology of genodermatosis.
Track 4 Acne and Treatment:
Acne is a skin condition characterized by red eruptions/pimples, especially on the face. This section deals with the types of acne problems with their treatment.
The track includes Neonatal and infantile acne, Acne vulgaris, Perioral dermatitis and steroid rosacea, Acne fulminans and Acne treatment with antibiotics.
Track 5 Warts and Vitiligo:
Warts are small skin growth caused by human papillomavirus. There are more than 60 types of HPV, some of which causes skin infections. Vitiligo is a condition in which pigment is lost from the skin leaving white patches.
The track includes Different types of warts with their treatment and diagnosis, HPV: Prevention, Diagnosis and Treatment, Diphenylcyclopropenone immunotherapy for the treatment of warts, Diagnosis and treatment of vitiligo, Clinical patterns of vitiligo and Epidemiology of vitiligo.
Track 6 Bacterial Infectious Skin Diseases:
Bacteria are living unicellular organisms which can be seen under microscope. Many skin infections are caused by bacteria after they gain access to the host body. This section deals with the skin infections caused by bacteria and their possible treatments.
The track includes Severity of MRSA infections, Diagnosis and Treatment of MRSA infections, Clinical patterns of bacterial pediatric infectious diseases, Impetigo: Symptoms, Diagnosis & Treatment and Omphalitis: Pathophysiology & Treatment.
Track 7 Fungal Skin Infection:
Mostly fungal spores are present in the air or in the soil. The infection usually begins on the skin. Fungal infections are rarely critical until the immune system is weakened by the usage of drug or any disorder.
The track includes Emerging fungal infections in children, Thrush and yeast infection, Ringworm infections: Diagnosis & Treatment, Clinical features and diagnosis of pediatric sporotrichosis, Clinical patterns of fungal pediatric infections and Fungal skin infections: Symptoms, Diagnosis & Treatment.
Track 8 Viral Skin Infections:
Virus is a small infectious agent which replicates only inside the host body and causes infections. It can infect almost all types of living forms. This session deals with the diagnosis and treatment of the Viral Skin Infections.
The track includes Pediatric Molluscum contagiosum, Measles: Symptoms, Diagnosis & Treatment, Rubella in children, Pediatric Enteroviral Infections: Diagnosis & Treatment, Herpes Simplex Viral infection: Diagnosis & Treatment and Viral skin infections: Symptoms, Diagnosis & Treatment.
Track 9 Treating Dermatitis with Therapeutic Agents:
Treating Dermatitis with Therapeutic Agents deals with the information related to the usage of therapeutic agents for the treatment of skin infections. This session includes Antibiotics and related toxicity, Antiseptics, Antifungals, Anti -inflammatory drugs, Anti-viral, Biopharmaceutical drugs and Traditional drugs: Pharmacokinetics & Pharmacodynamics.
Track 10 Immunology of Pediatric Dermatitis Infections:
This session deals with the immune response of the host to the skin infection and the track includes Immunopathology, Mechanisms of innate immune evasion by foreign invaders, Macrophages and Dendritic cells response to infectious diseases, Immune system recognition of infection causing agents and Mechanism of Autoimmune diseases.
Track 11 Microbial Resistance against Skin Infections:
Microbial Resistance against Skin Infections deals with the mechanisms developed by microorganisms to gain resistance against the drugs which are being used for the treatment of skin related infections.
The track includes Multi Drug Resistant pathogens, Resistance of Microbes, Bacteria gaining resistance against drugs, Development and spread of resistance to antimicrobial & antiviral agents and Antibiotic resistance.
Track 12 Pediatric Melanoma:
Pediatric Melanoma is a type of skin cancer that begins in the melanocytes which are present in the epidermis (the outermost layer of the skin). This scientific session is all about the Diagnosis and Treatment of melanoma and its different types.
The track includes Types of melanoma, Epidemiology, Causes and risk factors, Screening and prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment and Management.
