Purpose and current relevance
Artificial intelligence techniques have attracted many research scientists, decision makers and practicing researchers in recent years as powerful computational intelligent techniques, for solving unlimited number of complex real-world problems particularly related to research areas of engineering and operational research. Under the unpredictable and turbulence environment, classical and traditional approaches are partially able to obtain a complete solution with certain degree of satisfaction for the application problems. Therefore, new artificial intelligence methods are required to handle these issues significantly and holistically. The artificial intelligence methods are generic, flexible, robust, and versatile framework for solving complex problems for the global problems in engineering and operational research and its applications. The scope of this special issue includes, but is not limited to the following topics:
List of topics to be covered
Cockroach swarm optimization

Submission Process
Special issue articles can include both original unpublished research articles and review articles related to the specific theme.
Manuscripts will be accepted for publishing in the special issue only after getting approved by the peer review committee [selected by the guest editor(s)].
All the articles in special issues should strictly adhere to journal style and formatting.
Each special issue can be created with 10-15 articles.
All accepted manuscripts can be submitted online via http://www.editorialmanager.com/engineeringjournal....
Submission should be accompanied by a cover letter with reference to the concerned special issue theme.
Accepted manuscripts submitted before the deadline will be published within the given timeframe for the respective journal publication.
Once accepted and published, all special issues will be released under an open access system through OMICS Publishing Group and will be freely available for reading, downloading, and printing.
