As attendees begin to implement new tools and strategies they learned during this year's meeting, VNAA has already begun preparing for the 29th VNAA Annual Meeting, which will be held April 13-15, 2011, at the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore, Maryland.

Mark your Calendar now and begin preparing for Monday, June 7, 2010, when the Call for Abstracts will open for the 29th Annual Meeting. Now is the time to consider how you will support one of the most important VNAA events of the year. Whether you submit an abstract for a breakout or poster session or both, the success of the annual meeting is the direct result of VNAA members' participation and sharing of information, knowledge and experience during the meeting program.

We encourage you to review the 2010 Power Point slide presentations that are rich in content and will help you develop ideas for new program topics you may wish to present at next year's meeting. Please check back often as we will continually this page with materials for the 2011 Call for Abstracts.

2011 Theme

The VNAA's 29th Annual Meeting theme this year is still being determined.
Call for Abstracts - Who Should Submit

The VNAA welcomes individual professionals and/or groups committed to supporting, promoting and advancing nonprofit home healthcare and hospice organizations to submit an abstract. This includes organizational leaders, managers and staff, practicing clinicians including Medical Directors, Registered Nurses, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, public health professionals and academics. Independent consultants, vendors and distributors are encouraged to apply in partnership with VNAA members highlighting outcomes and lessons learned from current and past projects.

How to Submit

For the 2011 process, we have made it even easier this year for you to submit by implementing an online system. Click here to visit the site and submit your abstract now. Share with us the important, innovative programs that are you implementing to manage care transitions from home health to hospice, advance clinical and professional practice, improve end of life quality, promote palliative care and fulfill your agency mission. *IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Emailed, faxed, U.S.P.S mailed, handwritten or any other form of hard copy/typed proposals will NOT be accepted. Incomplete proposals and proposals not completed online will not be reviewed.
