The ICIS 2012 Conference Committee and the Association for Information
Systems are pleased to invite you to participate in the 2012
International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS 2012) to be held
in Orlando, Florida from December 16, 2012 to December 19, 2012.
The ICIS 2012 Program Committee invites submissions across 21 tracks,
including our Theme track. The conference theme, “Digital Innovation
in the Service Economy,” combines the two most important long-term
trends in the business world: The shift of the economy from goods to
service, and the rapid expansion of information economy and electronic
networks. IT is likely to play an even more significant role in the
service economy not only in fostering innovation in the service sector
but also in transforming the entire economy.
Please note the following:
The conference website at http://icis2012.aisnet.org/ contains the
track descriptions, deadlines, and submission guidelines.
The deadline for submissions is Thursday, May 3, 2012, 11:59 pm
Pacific time. This is a firm deadline and no extensions will be
allowed.
All submissions must be made through the online submission system at
http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/icis2012. Authors need to create an
account on the submission system before they can upload their papers.
A submission can be made to only one Track and the posted submission
guidelines, at http://icis2012.aisnet.org/submissions.htm must be
followed.
Acceptance/rejection decisions will be made by Monday, July 30, 2012.
There is much to see and do in and around Orlando. The Orlando area
often boasts of being the theme park capital of the world and as such,
the tourist amenities and facilities are second to none. You'll have a
great time exploring all there is to offer. We look forward to seeing
you in Orlando for ICIS 2012 where the sun shines all year and the
theme parks, golf courses, shopping and sightseeing are waiting for
you.
