BioCreative 2015 - International Workshop on Northeast Asia-Central Asia Regional Resources and Environment Data Sharing
Topics/Call fo Papers
Objectives: Enhancing capability of resources and environment data management and data sharing in Northeast Asia-Central Asia countries under Big Data era; facilitating regional sustainable development; promoting the development of International Scientists Alliance of Silk Road.
Training topics:
§ Necessity of resources and environment data sharing and the international trend
§ Demands for data sharing for Silk Road Economic Belt development Policies and standard for resources and environment data sharing
§ Technologies and software for resources and environment data sharing
§ Integrated management and application of resources and environment data
Training methods: Indoor lectures, computer practices, seminar, field trip
Class capacity: 35-40 trainees in total. Estimated trainees by, but not limited to, the following countries: Russia (about 12), Kyrgyzstan (about 4), Tajikistan (about 4), Uzbekistan (about 4), Kazakhstan (about 5), and Mongolia (about 5). Applicants from national academy of sciences of each country, and age under 35, will be given priority.
Fees: Training cost and accommodation, plus some living subsidies will be provided by China Ministry of Science and Technology and Chinese Academy of Sciences. Considering national conditions, Chinese Academy of Sciences will pay international travel costs of trainees from national academy of sciences of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan or Uzbekistan. Please note that international travel costs of trainees from other countries will not be covered.

§ All applicants will receive feedback from the organizer. Acceptance notification will be sent by 8, July.
