SPDC 2015 - International Workshop on Security, Privacy and Trust for Big Data and Cloud Computing (SPDC-2015)
Topics/Call fo Papers
First Workshop on Security, Privacy, and Trust for Big Data and Cloud Computing in conjunction with 13th IEEE International Conference on Dependable, Autonomic and Secure Computing (DASC-2015), will be held in Liverpool, England, UK, 26-28 October 2015.
The workshop SPDC-2015 is an international forum for researchers, developers, and practitioners to demonstrate new ideas and techniques on security, privacy and trust for Big Data and Cloud Computing. The workshop welcomes academia, government, industry, and contributing individuals to submit unpublished papers in theoretical and practical aspects of computer and communications security.
Scope and Topics
Original, unpublished contributions are solicited in ALL security aspects of servers, computers, networking and communications in Big Data and Cloud Computing. Possible topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
(1) Big Data Security & Privacy & Trust
a. Intrusion Detection for Gigabit Networks
b. Anomaly and APT Detection in Very Large Scale Systems
c. High Performance Cryptography
d. Visualizing Large Scale Security Data
e. Threat Detection using Big Data Analytics
f. Privacy Threats of Big Data
g. Privacy Preserving Big Data Collection/Analytics
h. Big Data Security Applications
(2) Cloud Computing Security & Privacy & Trust
a. Secure cloud architecture
b. Cloud access control and key management
c. Remote data integrity protection
d. Secure management of virtualized resources
e. Joint security and privacy aware protocol design
f. Privacy Threats of Big Data
g. Availability, recovery and auditing
h. Cloud based Applications
Submission
All papers need to be submitted electronically in PDF format through the conference website (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=spdc2015). The materials should not be published or under submission elsewhere. Each paper is limited to 6 pages including figures and references using IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Manuscript style (two columns, single-spaced, 10 fonts). Once accepted, papers will be include into the IEEE conference proceedings published by IEEE Computer Society Press (indexd by EI). At least one of the authors of any accepted paper is requested to register the paper at the conference.
