Bao Pham (University of Science, Vietnam)
Knowledge Representaion (KR) and Reasoning are exciting and well-established fields of research in knowledge engineering. KR is key drivers of innovation in computer science, and they have applied in many practical applications in a wide range of areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge-based Systems, Expert Systems, Intelligent Problems Solver, Decision Support Systems and another Intelligent Software. In recent years, KR has also derived challenges from new and emerging fields including the semantic web, computational biology, and the development of software agents. This special session aims to bring together researchers and developers with all these different backgrounds to discuss and exchange new ideas and the latest achievements in KR and its applications.
Relevant topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
Methods and Tools for KR
Ontology Engineering
Automated reasoning
Knowledge Acquisition
Knowledge-based systems
Logic programming
Vision Computer and Pattern Recognition
Expert Systems
Intelligent Problem Solvers
Decision Support Systems
Semantic Web
Intelligent Agents
Intelligent software in education, medical, mangement, bussiness
