TETL 2015 - IEEE Workshop on Technology Enabled Teaching & Learning in Higher Education

Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun is organizing a 7 day Faculty Development Programme titled “Technology Enabled Teaching and Learning in Higher Education” in association with IEEE which will be held from 8th June to the 14th June, 2015 at Graphic Era Hill University Dehradun Campus.
The workshop aims to cover all the integral aspects of using technology to enhance teaching, and in turn learning experience by enlightening the audience about the various facilities and tools available. The audience will also get an insight on the optimum use of social media such as facebook, twitter, linkedin, wikis etc. to enhance their learning quotient. The objective of the workshop is to bring technology closer to the teacher to enable an enhanced learning experience.
This workshop can be attended by all who are currently in the teaching profession in higher educational institutions as well as those research scholars and post graduate students aspiring to enter the teaching profession. Insights will be provided on ways in which technology has transformed teaching, along with suggestions for using some good technologies for delivering content.

This event will not only include an academic cognizance for the participants but also provide them an opportunity to witness the scenic beauty of Dehradun Valley followed by a visit to Haridwar/ Rishikesh/ Mussoorie. 7 Days of highly interactive & participative Sessions are planned throughout the workshop with Q & A rounds with the participants. The Methodology would include experiential learning experiences, hands-on activities and an excursion to surrounsding tourist destinations to beat the scorching heat.
