19th Power Systems Computation Conference (PSCC 2016) which will take place from 20th to 24th June 2016 in Genoa, Italy.
The Power Systems Computation Conference is one of the most prestigious conferences in the area. The Conference gives to the international forum of researchers and power system engineers a good opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences on the latest developments in the field. The emphasis is placed on both theoretical developments as well as on practical applications in the utility and manufacturing industries.
The Power Systems Computation Conference is being historically organised every three years, but from last year it’s been decided to organize the Conference every two years. The six latest conferences were held in Wroclaw (PSCC 2014), in Stockholm (PSCC 2011), in Glasgow (PSCC 2008), in Liège (PSCC 2005), in Sevilla (PSCC 2002) and in Trondheim (PSCC 1999). The first PSCC was organized in the early sixties. The last edition was attended by about 300 members from 50 different countries, mostly European. 220 were the papers and presentations that have animated the conference sessions of PSCC 2014. PSCC has developed a fair and rigorous paper review procedure in order to ensure high standards of Conference proceedings. This is the main task of the Technical Programme Committee (TPC) which is responsible for the technical programme including selection of papers. Therefore Authors are invited to submit contributions according to the established PSCC procedures. You can find the list of topics for the new PSCC at this link.
PSCC has also acquired reputation as an instrument of building a social network where participants and accompanying persons can get to know each other and make new friends. Therefore the common social programme will be an important part of the Conference, including reception, a conference tour and a conference dinner. The Local Organising Committee people will do their best to put all the elements of this programme together with emphasis on the history and culture of Genoa. We believe that the Conference participants coming to Genoa from all over the world will take home a lot of pleasant memories making them look forward to meeting at the next Conference again.
