ABOUT US
In 2002, the Worldwide Forum on Education and Culture hosted its first meeting at John Cabot University in Rome. With a focus on improving education throughout the world, 30 professors from five countries met to exchange ideas and perspectives on diverse methods of education. Since that time, the Worldwide Forum has grown to include dozens of scholars and professionals representing 28 nations.
Five years ago, the Worldwide Forum released its first volume of work under the title Education Landscapes in the 21st Century: Cross-Cultural Challenges and Multi-Disciplinary Perspectives. This 450-page book, which contains highlights from the first six years of the organization’s proceedings, was published by Cambridge Scholars Press in the United Kingdom. A second volume, Global Encounters: Pedagogical Paradigms and Educational Practices, was published three years ago.
PARTNERS
The Worldwide Forum on Education and Culture is partnering with the International Committee for the Development of People (CISP), a non-governmental agency based in Rome, to help with the newest initiative: the Ethiopia Project, which provides various classroom supplies for schools in the Liben region. Monetary donations may be made in care of the Worldwide Forum or directly to CISP.
