ISN’s biennial World Congress of Nephrology (WCN) is the premiere educational event in nephrology which rotates between continents and is organized in collaboration with local and regional nephrology societies. The congress is targeted to the international nephrology community as well as other healthcare professionals involved in multidisciplinary nephrology care, thus enabling professionals from all parts of the world to exchange views on a wide variety of topics affecting nephrology and those suffering from kidney disease around the world.
By bringing together practicing physicians, academics, scientists, international health authorities and clinical researchers, each Congress offers a unique global forum for a free exchange of science and medical strategy and is aligned with local and regional reflections under the overall congress theme.
WCN aims to advance the education of physicians and other professionals, support the development of renal research, and facilitate the delivery of high-quality healthcare worldwide. Since ISN’s first congress in 1960, WCN has provided vital guidance and support to advancing nephrology around the world.
This edition of the World Congress will not only deliver the most recent innovations but also state-of-the-art knowledge that is relevant and adapted to renal care practice throughout the world where delegates benefit from practical, practice changing and concrete takeaways. It will feature a groundbreaking program with world renowned faculty, authoritative and innovative keynote lectures, scientific theme tracks, industry lunch symposia, poster sessions, an integrated industry exhibition, and last but not least magnificent social networking events full of culture and culinary delights.
On behalf of the International Society of Nephrology (ISN), the South African Renal Society (SARS), the African Association of Nephrology (AFRAN) and the Renal Care Society of South Africa (RCSSA) we are pleased to invite you to participate in the 2015 World Congress of Nephrology under the theme of “Sustainability and Diversity”.
