2015 Workshop on Resource-Efficient Machine Learning

The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers in the emerging topics related to learning and decision-making under budget constraints in uncertain and dynamic environments. These problems introduce a new trade off between prediction accuracy and prediction cost. Studying this tradeoff is an inherent challenge that needs to be investigated in a principled fashion in order to invent practically relevant machine learning algorithms. This problem lies at the intersection of ML, statistics, stochastic control, and information theory.
Paper Format and Electronic Submission
We are now accepting workshop submissions up to 4 pages (ICML2015 format), not including references. The submission deadline is May 1st, 2015, (4pm Pacific Daylight Time). Please email all submissions to matt.kusner-AT-gmail.com with subject line: "ICML2015 Workshop on Resource-Efficient Machine Learning Submission". The workshop will have a poster session of accepted papers and the best submissions will be granted oral presentations.
