AIRS 2015 - 2015 Asia Information Retrieval Societies Conference
Topics/Call fo Papers
The Asia Information Retrieval Societies Conference (AIRS) aims to bring together researchers and developers to exchange new ideas and latest achievements in the field of Information Retrieval. The scope of the conference covers applications, systems, technologies and theory aspects of information retrieval in text, audio, image, video and multimedia data.
The AIRS 2015 welcomes submissions of original papers in the broad field of Information Retrieval. Submissions can either be full research paper (12 pages Springer format), short research paper (6 pages Springer format), or system demonstration papers (4 pages + 2 pages of figures and tables in Springer format).
The technical areas covered include, but are not limited to, the following:
IR Models and Theories
IR Evaluation
Search Engine Scalability
Web IR and Social Media Search
Query Analysis and Query Understanding
User Study and Interactive IR
Database IR and Structured Data
Multimedia IR, Spoken IR, Location-aware IR and Mobile IR
Natural Language Processing for IR
Filtering and Recommending
Machine Learning, Clustering and Data Mining for IR
IR Applications (e.g. Legal IR, Medical/Biomedical IR)
The AIRS 2015 proceedings will be published as a Springer’s LNCS volume. The paper selection will follow a standard double-blind reviewing process. Paper submissions must be completed electronically and in PDF format and should be submitted through the EasyChair submission system.
