MTDI 2015 - Special Session on Modern Techniques of Design and Implementation of Highly Flexible Controllers

In the last few decades we have been observing constantly growing impact of control systems on various fields of human activity. They play an important role in virtually all fields: in industry, transportation, automotive, security, safety, health-care and consumer products. They will play a key role in emerging cyber-physical systems where the "cyber" functions of sensing, computation, communication and control are tightly coupled with the "physical" world. The dynamic growth of the control systems importance and complexity requires new innovative methodologies for their design and implementation. The main aim of the special session is to provide the researchers and practitioners from industry and academia a platform for discussion on recent developments, technology trends, research results, and initiatives related to design and implementation of control systems for various environments and purposes.
