iiWAS2010 and MoMM2010 invite PhD and masters students to present and discuss their work-in-progress and preliminary results in front of an international and renowned audience of researchers, other PhD students and practicioners. MDC aims at offering valuable feedback to the students and will, therefore, foster extensive and constructive discussions following the students' presentations.
The colloquium will be organized in parallel to iiWAS2010 and MoMM2010 conferences which are going to take place in Paris, France, November 08-10, 2010. The scope of MDC submissions is similar to the topics of interest shaped by iiWAS2010 and MoMM2010.
* Paper Submissions and Review Process
Paper submissions are solicited up to 4 pages length in PDF format (short papers including an abstract). Each contribution should contain a problem statement and outline of the contribution to the field, an overview of related work in the area, a description of the methodological approach, results achieved so far, and an outlook on work remaining to be done for the thesis project. All papers will be peer-reviewed by three members of the international TPC and judged according to relevance, clarity and correctness, and novelty and originality.

- July 2, 2010 : MDC Paper Submissions
- August 30, 2010 : Notification of Acceptance
- September 15, 2010 : Camera-Ready Papers
* Publication
Accepted MDC papers will be published by ACM and the Austrian Computer Society (OCG) books-AT-ocg.at series. Authors of outstanding papers will be invited to submit an extended paper to distinguished journals (see the information given by iiWAS2010 and MoMM2010 conferences).
* Templates
Papers should be formatted according to the ACM guidelines. Authors using Latex need to choose the LateX2e â?“ Tighter Alternate style.
* Submission Process
Authors are requested to submit their full papers electronically in PDF format by using EasyChair. (Link will be provided soon via the Web Site).
