Dear Colleagues,
Due to demand, Extended Abstracts (1,000 - 1,500 words) can now be submitted online up to Friday 10 April. Earlier submission to facilitate the double blind peer review process is appreciated.
The annual flagship event of the IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology (SSIT) provides a multi-disciplinary forum for practitioners, engineers, entrepreneurs, philosophers, policy makers, researchers, social scientists, technologists, and polymaths to collaborate, exchange experiences, and discuss the implications of achieving the Global Knowledge Society.
As 2015 is European Year for Development, IEEE ISTAS 2015 will place a strong emphasis on the contribution of (and ethical responsibilities associated with) Technology in Development, especially for Agriculture and Food Security, Education, Energy, Environment and Healthcare.
Extended Abstracts received by 31 March will be allocated for review on 01 April. Extended Abstracts submitted online from 01 - 10 April will be allocated for review within 24 hours of receipt.
