27th International Conference on Organometallic Chemistry (ICOMC 2016) to be held in Melbourne (17-22 July 2016). It is a great honour for us to host the ICOMC Conference for the second time in Australia, the first being in Brisbane in 1996. The Conference will follow the highly successful previous events in this prestigious series. We assure you that all of us in the Organising Committee will do our best towards the achievement of another memorable scientific event.
The scientific level of the Conference will be provided by its attendants and thus you are cordially invited to join and present your best and recent scientific work orally or by poster. Senior researchers are welcomed to present their work, but importantly the younger generation are highly encouraged to present their research. Hence, exchange of ideas and discussions among the different generations will eventuate.
All fields of Organometallic Chemistry will be considered, from fundamental to applied areas, including multidisciplinary approaches and related areas of other sciences.
Melbourne is easily reachable from any place of the world. The Conference venue is ideally located in central Melbourne, with easy access to public transport, hotels, restaurants, and bars.
To encourage scientific discussions in less formal environments, special attention will also be paid to the social programme, with a welcome reception, Conference dinner and social functions coinciding with the poster sessions. Additionally, many tours in and around Melbourne will be available to enjoy the cuisine, wines and unique flora and fauna of Australia.
