Workshop Scope and Goals
The LaSCoG-SCoDiS'15 workshop pair originated in 2005 with goal to gather together researchers who are involved in either scientific or engineering applications large-scale computations, or large data-intensive calculations, that are distributed across the Internet. In particular, usually heterogeneous computational Grids, homogeneous cluster computing, elastic and virtual cloud computing and other future generation distributed large-scale systems.
The LaSCoG-SCoDiS'15 event is envisioned as a forum to promote an exchange of ideas and results aimed at addressing sophisticated issues that arise in developing large-scale homogeneous or heterogeneous distributed systems that are capable to host scalable applications and computing.
