3C in ITS 2015 - Computing, Communication and Control Technologies in intelligent transportation system (3C in ITS 2015) for Computing
Topics/Call fo Papers
Computing, Communication and Control Technologies in intelligent transportation system (3C in ITS 2015) for Computing, The 9th International Conference Frontier of Computer Science and Technology (FCST 2015)
Target audience
This workshop will offer a venue where participants are given the opportunity to exchange new ideas, new technical topics encompassing new computing, communication and control technologies in intelligent transportation system. Its target audience includes academics, students and industry practitioners who are interested in an overspread domain in relevant domains, including the field of VANET (including Emergency vehicle notification systems, Automatic road enforcement, Variable speed limits, Collision avoidance systems, etc.), Maritime transportation system (including scheduling design, traffic management and mobility management, as well as for interfaces with other modes of transport), and the relevant hotspots in Aeronautical communication system.
INTRODUCTION
As we are deep into the Information Age, we witness the explosive growth of data available related to modern transportation system. Intelligent transportation systems (ITS) are advanced applications which aim to provide innovative services relating to different modes of transport and traffic management and enable various users to be better informed and make safer, more coordinated, and smarter use of transport networks.
Improved planning, design, management, and the control of future transportation systems are critical for ITS, which requires conducting both basic theoretical, experimental and operational aspects of research to expand the knowledge base on transportation. This workshop focuses on the design, analysis of computing, communication and control technologies as it is applied to transportation systems.
The workshop offers a timely venue for researchers and industry partners to present and discuss their latest results in computing, communication and control technologies related work of intelligent transportation system.
The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Computing (parallel or distributed computing)
Communications (intervehicle and vehicle-to-road-aside, intervessel and vessel-to-shore-aside)
Control (adaptive, fuzzy, cooperative, neuro)
Decision Systems (expert systems, intelligent agents)
Systems (engineering, architecture, evaluation)
Information Systems (databases, data fusion, security)
Man-Machine Interfaces (displays, artificial speech)
Sensors (infrastructure and vehicle-based)
Simulation (Traffic movement simulator)
Signal Processing
Standards
Reliability & Quality Assurance
Technology Forecasting & Transfer
