ICEF 2011 - The ICEF Middle East & Africa Workshop

The ICEF Middle East & Africa Workshop grew again in 2010, reinforcing its position as THE annual networking event for educators wanting to build relationships with student recruitment agents from over 30 countries in the Middle East, Africa, Turkey and South Asia.

In 2010 the workshop hosted 383 participants from 283 organisations in 47 countries around the world. This represents strong growth across all workshop participants (educators 26%, agents 13%, exhibitors 15%).

The 2011 ICEF Middle East & Africa Workshop will take place once again in Dubai. Located at the cross-roads of Asia, Europe and Africa, and long established as the commercial hub of the Middle East, Dubai provides the perfect location for this international networking event.

All student recruitment agents attending the workshop undergo ICEF’s selection and screening process, considered to be the most stringent in the industry, and have an active interest in partnering a broad range of educators and service providers.

During the event, educators and service providers hold pre-scheduled, one-to-one business meetings with relevant, quality student recruitment agents. These meetings serve the dual objective of appointing new representatives and maintaining existing business relationships. In addition to appointments with agents, educational institutions can also meet with each other to set up exchange programmes, twinning arrangements and joint ventures.

With personal contact so important in this part of the world, the workshop schedule is designed to give you ample opportunity to meet and get to know agents both in a business setting and informally at meal times, refreshment breaks and evening receptions.
