SPeH 2015 - 1st IEEE International Workshop on Security and Privacy in eHealthcare
Topics/Call fo Papers
Rapid advancements in wireless communication and sensing technologies have introduced a range of applications, including medical and healthcare systems. The healthcare sector is increasingly adopting the emerging technical trend and many applications and tools have been introduced to remotely monitor and store patients’ sensitive data. The inherent weaknesses associated with wireless and mobile communication raises serious questions about the security and privacy of sensitive data in transmission and stored in virtual environments.
The First IEEE International Workshop on Security and Privacy in eHealthcare (SPeH 2015) will address research in security and privacy of applications and tools in eHealthcare and provide a unique forum to present and discuss the key issues and innovative solutions to address the security and privacy concerns in eHealthcare.
The major focus of the workshop will include, but not limited to the following:
Authentication in wireless body networks
Secure wireless network communication
Data security and privacy in eHealthcare
Secure connectivity in wearable devices
eHealthcare security challenges in cloud
Trustworthy wearable sensing devices
