NSVE 2015 - Special Section on Network Systems for Virtualized Environment

The IEICE Transactions on Communications announces a forthcoming
section on “Network Systems for Virtualized Environment” to be
published in November 2015.
Submission deadline is March 27, 2015 (HARD)
In recent years, virtualization technologies achieving higher
utilization efficiency of physical computing resources are widely used.
Network systems also play an important role to support such a
virtualized environment. Typically, cloud computing environment based
on virtual machines grows drastically. It means that data center
network becomes more important element. Moreover, inter-cloud system
receives much attention as a larger scale platform. In addition,
network virtualization is a novel trend in network control/management
area. SDN (Software Defined Network) is one of the most successful
technologies. It achieves higher flexibility and efficiency. This
special session is being planned (scheduled to appear in the November
2015 issue) to discuss network systems for virtualized environment. The
submissions concerning new technique and discovery on various types of
network system, network architecture and networking technology for
virtualized environment are highly welcome.
